The Mourning Blade is a unique monster designed to be implemented in existing DND stories, or become the focus of a longer narrative. Have your players vanquish this foe and perhaps they might become the new wielder of this accursed blade. Will they be able to save the blade from its grief or will they drive it down a sinister path as a weapon of destruction?
